Open the downloaded DMG and drag microStats to your Applications folder. No permission dialogs.

It lives in your menu bar

On launch the module icons appear in your menu bar. Click any of them to see the details right there.

Customize in Settings

Fine-tune which modules show, their order, sampling intervals, icon styles, and even which rows appear in each dropdown.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the established paid monitors?

The information you can see is largely equivalent. On top of that, microStats adds measured energy in watts on Apple silicon, temperature history charts, and per-process disk/network — for a one-time $10. It targets macOS 15+ only, which keeps it lean.

What about free, open-source monitors?

The measurement approach is often similar, but microStats invests in the dropdown design and rendering: nine icon styles, graph hover, opaque menus, and localization into 14 languages. It's the finish that differs — for something you look at every day.

Is any data sent anywhere?

No. All measurements stay on your Mac. There are no analytics, no required account, and no location permission.

What are the system requirements?

How many Macs per license?
