microClip is a menu bar clipboard history for macOS. Text, images, links, files and colors are captured automatically — find them in the ⌘⇧V palette and paste straight into the app you are in. Your history stays on this Mac.

⌘⇧V → type a few letters → ↩. The palette never takes focus from the app in front.
The clipboard is where secrets pass through. So microClip is built on two rules: send nothing, and skip what should never be kept.
Everything is written to a file on this Mac. No cloud sync, no telemetry, no account.
Password managers mark what they copy with org.nspasteboard.ConcealedType. microClip skips anything carrying that mark, and 13 known password managers are excluded by default.
Rich text, images, links, files and colors are all captured. Press Tab to cycle types and show only what you are after.
Rich or plain. ⌥↩ pastes without the formatting.
Screenshots and copied images, with thumbnails.
URLs are kept as links — searchable by domain too.
Files copied in Finder keep their paths, multi-selection included.
Color codes come with a swatch. Paste the hex straight back.
The palette never takes focus from the app in front. The moment you pick, it pastes right where you were typing.
The palette opens mid-screen. Esc or a click outside closes it.
Filtering starts as you type — content, URLs, file names and source app.
↩ pastes into the app in front. About a second, start to finish.
⌘P pins to the top. Unlimited, and never auto-deleted.
100–5,000 items, kept 1 day to forever — or cleared on quit.
Copy the same thing ten times and the list still shows one row.
Copies made while a chosen app is in front are never recorded.
Full text, images, path lists and swatches — plus source app, time and size.
Left click opens the palette; right click gives the last 5, pause and clear.
Japanese, English and 12 more. Switch without restarting.
Accessibility is optional — everything but direct paste works without it.
Buy it once. The yearly plan is there if you would rather pay in small amounts.
Full 14-day trial — every feature, no card. A license key arrives by email and activates several Macs. Checkout is handled by a Merchant of Record, taxes included.
No. Password managers mark their copies with org.nspasteboard.ConcealedType, and microClip never stores anything carrying that mark. On top of that, 13 known password managers are excluded by default, and you can add your own.
In ~/Library/Application Support/microClip — on this Mac only. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
No. Apart from activating your license, microClip makes no network calls. It works offline forever.
Accessibility is optional. Grant it and ↩ pastes directly into the app in front; without it, capture, search and copy all still work.
History never syncs — that is a deliberate choice. Settings alone can sync through your microai.jp account if you want them to.
