A new menu bar icon.

• ImprovedNew menu bar icon: a camera ejecting a print. Part of the unified icon family shared by all micro apps — clearer and easier to tell apart at menu bar size.

New icon and editor improvements.

• NewRefreshed the app icon with a new layered design (Liquid Glass on macOS Tahoe).
• NewSelected annotations can now be exported as PNG and JPG, in addition to SVG.
• NewAdded "Keep in Dock" in Settings > General — clicking the Dock icon opens the editor.
• ImprovedA batch of editor fixes: vector shapes, grouping, alignment, icon fill, and SVG export.
• ImprovedPinned shots keep a minimum size, and closed pins return to Quick Access.
• FixedAfter signing in from the browser, Settings > Account now comes back to the front.

Smoother crosshair when selecting a capture area.

• FixedThe crosshair shown while selecting a capture area could stutter. Selection rendering now syncs with the display refresh and tracks the mouse smoothly — in area capture, timer, scrolling capture, recording, GIF and OCR.

Pinned images no longer look see-through.

• FixedPinning a framed screenshot could stretch the window into the transparent margin, making the right or bottom edge look see-through. Pinned images are now trimmed to what you actually see.

microIsland notch integration, big memory savings, and many editor fixes.

• NewmicroIsland integration: capture history and quick actions are available right in the notch (requires microIsland).
• NewPaste images with Cmd+V, auto-delete screenshots older than N days, and a revamped mesh-gradient editor.
• ImprovedMuch lower memory use — the background-removal model now unloads when idle.
• ImprovedSmoother video playback, plus Japanese IME improvements in the built-in terminal.
• NewNew macOS 26 (Tahoe) app icon, and microAI Bundle license keys are now accepted.
• FixedArea-selection drags could be missed, and settings / onboarding windows could open behind other apps.
