Release notes for microSwitch. Updates install automatically — this page tracks what changed in each version.
0.1.11
September 1, 2026Redesigned onboarding.
- ImprovedCompletely redesigned onboarding, shared across all micro apps: a unified layout, a Back button on every step, and buttons no longer get cut off on smaller screens.
- ImprovedSetup now always walks through permissions — ones you've already granted show a green check.
- NewReplay the guide anytime from “Getting Started Guide” in the menu.
0.1.9
August 24, 2026The ⌘⇥ HUD now shows every window without scrolling.
- NewMulti-column HUD: when the list outgrows one column it flows into 2–4 columns, so every window is visible at once — no scrolling. Your most recent windows stay pinned to the top left.
- New← → jump between columns; ⇥ and ↑↓ move through the list as before. Number badges 1–9 stay in the first column.
- ImprovedWith very many windows the rows switch to a compact density, and huge lists end with a “+N more” row (⌥Space search reaches everything).
0.1.7
August 12, 2026A new menu bar icon.
- ImprovedNew menu bar icon: two app tiles with a switching arrow. Part of the unified icon family shared by all micro apps — clearer and easier to tell apart at menu bar size.
0.1.6
August 12, 2026A brand-new app icon.
- NewRefreshed the app icon with a new layered design (Liquid Glass on macOS Tahoe).
- ImprovedSettings now shows the exact system-rendered app icon.
- ImprovedPermission warnings use the shared red-dot badge, and the license entry in the menu bar matches other micro apps.
- FixedAfter signing in from the browser, Settings > Account now comes back to the front.
0.1.5
August 6, 2026No more stuck switcher.
- FixedThe switcher could stay on screen when a modifier key-up was missed — after waking from sleep, or while dragging files. It now closes from the real key state.
0.1.1
July 27, 2026Windows from every Space.
- ImprovedThe switcher and the search palette now list windows from every Space — including full-screen apps and Spaces you haven't visited yet. Pick one and macOS jumps straight to its Space.
0.1.0
July 25, 2026First release.
- NewWindow-level ⌘Tab: every window from every app in one most-recently-used list. Hold ⌘, press ⇥ to move, release to switch — a quick tap goes back without drawing the HUD. 1–9 jumps straight to a row, and ⌘` cycles the front app's windows.
- New⌥Space search palette: fuzzy-search window titles and app names, ↩ to switch, ⌘1–9 for the top rows. It never steals focus.
- NewPrivacy by design: accessibility permission only — no screen recording, no thumbnails. Window titles are read to draw the list, never stored or sent.
- NewNever locks you out: paused, unpermitted or after the trial, the native ⌘Tab comes back automatically. Trigger on ⌘⇥ or ⌥⇥, and record any palette shortcut.
- NewMinimized windows and hidden apps stay listed, app exclusions, last five windows from the menu bar, 14 languages, microai.jp sign-in with settings sync, and license activation.
