0.1.8

12 agosto 2026

A new app icon.

  • MiglioratoNew app icon: a sheet of lined paper with a handwritten “Hello”, a pencil, and an eraser — write it wrong, erase, and it's right. The website and browser extension icons now match.

0.1.7

12 agosto 2026

A new menu bar icon.

  • MiglioratoNew menu bar icon: two lines of text with a proofreader's squiggle. Part of the unified icon family shared by all micro apps — clearer and easier to tell apart at menu bar size.

0.1.6

12 agosto 2026

A brand-new app icon.

  • NovitàRefreshed the app icon with a new layered design (Liquid Glass on macOS Tahoe) — browser extension icons too.

0.1.5

8 agosto 2026

Terminal fixes land in the right place again.

  • RisoltoIn Warp and Ghostty, running a full-screen tool such as Claude Code could make microFix target the wrong part of the screen — the tool's status bar instead of what you typed. Fixes now target exactly the keys you typed. In Warp, the prompt no longer gets mixed into the fix either.
  • MiglioratoWhen typing Japanese with kana input in a terminal microFix cannot read precisely, it now tells you it cannot fix there instead of guessing and touching the wrong text.
  • MiglioratoThe menu bar icon now shows a small red badge when something needs your attention — a missing permission, or a trial that has ended — with a menu item that takes you straight to the fix. The design is shared across microai apps.
  • MiglioratoRemoved an auto-update checkbox that does not apply to an app that is always running; updates keep installing themselves as before.

0.1.4

8 agosto 2026

Fixes no longer eat text you already typed.

  • RisoltoIn apps microFix cannot read directly, such as ChatGPT in Chrome, converting while using Japanese kana input could delete text you had already confirmed. microFix now leaves your text alone in those cases and tells you why.
  • MiglioratomicroFix no longer replaces text while the input method is still composing, where the wrong characters could be removed.

0.1.3

7 agosto 2026

Fixes now work in terminals, and rich text survives everywhere.

  • NovitàTerminals are supported: Terminal.app, iTerm2, Ghostty, Warp, kitty and WezTerm. Your shell prompt is never part of what gets fixed.
  • NovitàThe underline showing what's about to change now appears in Terminal.app and iTerm2 too.
  • NovitàSettings now separate accuracy from speed, and both are available on every plan. A new Usage tab shows how much of today's and this month's allowance you have used.
  • NovitàYou can help improve microFix by sharing the before and after text of your fixes. It is on by default and can be turned off anytime in Privacy; passwords and API keys are masked before anything is stored.
  • RisoltoIn UpNote and Notion, bold, italic and links could be stripped from the words being corrected. Only the changed characters are retyped now, inside the formatting, so the styling stays.
  • RisoltoIn Notion a fix could come out scrambled, or be quietly undone a second later. Both are gone: the caret is now read back and corrected before anything is deleted.
  • RisoltoFixing a whole line no longer drops sentences. The earlier part of the line stays.
  • RisoltoThe underline was missing on whole-line fixes, on lines with emoji, and on some Notion paragraphs.
  • RisoltoShortcuts reserved by other apps, such as Shift-Command-Space, can now be recorded in Settings.
  • MiglioratoWhen a fix cannot be applied safely, microFix now leaves your text completely untouched instead of applying part of it.
  • MiglioratoA fix discarded because you switched apps mid-conversion now tells you so, instead of disappearing silently.

0.1.2

6 agosto 2026

The underline goes everywhere, and rich text stays intact.

  • NovitàThe underline showing what's about to change now appears in browser rich editors — claude.ai, Notion and other contenteditable fields — with nothing extra to install.
  • NovitàText that wraps across lines gets an underline on every line, not just the first.
  • MiglioratoOnly the characters that actually change are replaced. Bold, links and paragraph breaks around the fix are left untouched, and less text is rewritten.
  • RisoltoEditors that don't expose their text to macOS — mi among them — couldn't be fixed at all in some cases. They now work, including proofreading Japanese typed with the IME.
  • RisoltoA sentence ending in stacked marks like !? was trimmed down to just the last mark before fixing. The whole sentence is now targeted, and the marks come back exactly as you typed them.
  • RisoltoIn some Electron apps a few characters could survive the replacement. The target is now selected and typed over in one step instead of deleted one keystroke at a time.
  • MiglioratoAfter a fix the cursor returns to the end of the corrected text, ready for you to keep typing.

0.1.1

6 agosto 2026

Fixes for editors and terminals that don't expose their text.

  • RisoltoIn apps that don't expose their text to macOS — mi and some other editors and terminals — a conversion could delete what you typed and leave nothing in its place. The replacement is now typed in directly instead of pasted, so it no longer depends on ⌘V reaching the app in time.
  • RisoltoIn some apps the highlight over the text being converted could be left behind, which made the next conversion delete more than it should.
  • MiglioratoThe underline marking what is about to change now appears in apps whose text can't be read, as long as they report where the characters are.

0.1.0

6 agosto 2026

Initial release.

  • NovitàType as usual and press ⌥Space: the run of text you just typed is rewritten right where the cursor is. No extra window, no copy-paste — and ⌘Z still undoes it.
  • NovitàOne key for every kind of mistake — romaji or pinyin left untransliterated, text typed in the wrong keyboard layout, missing diacritics, dropped characters and plain typos.
  • NovitàNo language restrictions: Korean or Russian typed with the layout still switched, Spanish or German without accents. The interface itself comes in 14 languages.
  • NovitàPress again for a different candidate, and once more to come back to exactly what you typed — the way back from text your IME has already committed.
  • NovitàYour keystrokes are never recorded. They live in an in-memory ring buffer that is dropped on a click, an app switch or secure input, and password fields are never touched.
  • NovitàRegister your own vocabulary and replacement rules for names and jargon — the same dictionary microVoice uses.
