A new menu bar icon.

• UlepszonoDictation is twice as fast: median time from releasing the key to text appearing dropped from 6.6s to 3.3s (short phrases ~2s). Transcription and cleanup now travel as a single request, preparation runs while you speak, and nothing waits in line behind bookkeeping.
• UlepszonoShort phrases get a lighter AI pass — same quality where it matters (your dictionary and learned corrections still apply), much lower latency.
• NaprawionoDictating into password fields no longer sends the transcribed text to the cloud for cleanup — secure fields now stay fully on-device, matching what we already did for audio.
• NaprawionoA slow network can no longer cause the cleanup AI to run twice on the same dictation.

Push-to-talk, and vocabulary you only register once.

• NowośćRecording is now push-to-talk: hold the key to record, release to transcribe.

• UlepszonoCanceling a recording is more reliable: esc works while you hold the right ⌘, pressing it twice stops processing, and the cloud request is aborted as well.

Safety net for accidental recordings, plus insertion diagnostics.

• NowośćAuto-stop on silence — if nothing is heard for 30 seconds, recording ends by itself. An accidental hotkey tap no longer records until the 9-minute cap; if nothing was recognized, nothing is inserted.
• UlepszonoSmarter homophone correction: the cleanup AI now resolves ambiguous words from the sentence itself (server-side, all versions benefit).
• UlepszonoInsertion diagnostics — paste failures now log their reason (permissions, secure input) for faster support.
